Moving my blog

Day 7, I spend all of my art time today creating a new website, which will be up and running sort of in the next couple of days! This includes a new website for the blog, so this will be my last post here most likely. The new blog will be at thequiltedlane.com which just seems so official to me! I’m not sure when it will be up and running and published, but check it out soon!

Day 3 – This is a two sided double gauze baby blanket also for my soon to be niece or nephew. My 3 year old daughter is my photographer, so apologies for the blurry photos lately, but she’s so cute!

More baby quilts!

Art every Day, Day 2 – Another finished baby quilt! I sent this one off last week for my friend who is having a little boy. He was due in April, but the day she got the quilt, her water broke! I think he just really wanted to see his quilt I made him! No worries, everyone is fine and they are going home today.

30 days of art, take 2

Last year, I posted 30 days in a row about projects I had made, or things I was working on. I’m going to try again this year, starting today!

Day 1 – My brother and sister-in-law are having a baby! I’m beyond excited about being an Auntie and I couldn’t wait to ship this off to them last week.

My daughter, the quilt designer

E is taking a dance class, and her teacher asked for the kiddos to have a little bag for their shoes. I offered to make one with her, and she went to town!

This is her designing her bag. We needed a piece of fabric 11.5×15.5; here is the finished piece of fabric with a little help from mommy:

This is a rocket, with a walkway from the rocket over to the house. Her imagination is just incredible and I can’t wait to finish the bag for her!

New sewing room

This was Paul’s old office. He switched to the smaller room because he loves me!

Here is the space now; I love it! I’m trying to figure out a Murphy bed as this will also be the guest room, but I haven’t figured that out yet.
